Minh Lam, Graduate Researcher in the Sharma Lab

Graduate Researcher

Minh Lam

Graduate Student · Non-coding RNA Biology

Minh Lam completed his undergraduate studies at Temple University and is currently a graduate student in our laboratory. His research focuses on non-coding RNA biology and the molecular mechanisms of airway remodeling in asthma, particularly how small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) regulate airway smooth muscle proliferation, migration, inflammation, and extracellular matrix remodeling. He applies AAV-based gene delivery, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and RNA-targeted approaches to define disease mechanisms and validate novel therapeutic targets. His work integrates molecular, cellular, and in vivo approaches to develop new strategies for treating asthma and airway remodeling.
