Saptarshi Roy

Saptarshi Roy, Ph.D., is an Associate Scientist in our laboratory with a background in allergy and immunology research at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on GPCR signaling, airway smooth muscle biology, asthma pathogenesis, and targeted protein degradation. He investigates signaling mechanisms that drive airway hyperresponsiveness and remodeling, with particular interest in developing PROTAC-based strategies to selectively target disease-driving proteins. His work combines advanced immunological approaches with multi-omics and spatial lipidomics, alongside cellular and in vivo models, to identify novel therapeutic strategies for asthma.
